Wow… ok so let me first just take a deep breath that I FINALLY have my page up and can start sharing with you all. This has been a dream of mine for such a long time, but life always seemed to get in the way. It has a tendency to do that…

I was born and raised in New Jersey, and studied away at college in Pennsylvania for four years. I moved back to New Jersey after I graduated and began working full time and cooking and baking for fun. I had a small business baking specialty cakes and desserts for a couple years, but ultimately gave that up after my daughter was born, and focused on being a mom.

Fast forward seven years, and I am a single momma with a full time job, now working a few part-timers to support my beautiful daughter, Alaina, and her older (fur) brother, Ollie. I have been divorced for almost five years, and Alaina is home with me most of the time. My full-time job is with the government and has been increasingly demanding- between community events, speaking engagements and the day-to-day office stuff-  sometimes I forget whether I’m coming or going.

So that is a little bit about me… I am beyond excited to share my love cooking and baking with you all and sincerely hope using my recipes also brings you joy!
